What is the name of the tree with red leaves on the right side of the photo? - I live in Japan, but want to plant some trees native to the US. This tree looks beautiful in its setting. »
Frank & Grossman Landscape Contractors, Inc. Funny you should ask given your location...it's a Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum)! It's probably either the 'Bloodgood' or 'Emperor One' cultivar.
After planting, water your citrus tree at least once a week until it has established roots. After this, water potted plants only when the top two inches are slightly dry — but make sure to water extremely thoroughly (with water filling the saucer at the bottom of the pot) when you do.
Like the idea of giant cement stepping blocks. Would make it easy to landscape with drought tolerant plants and still allow room for the dog to run around.
the clumps of the mondo grass sporadic on the bottom. then mix it with other stuff and upright rocks. still give a slope/mound and the tree doesn't have to be centered.
