OK - this is totally ideal. Open lockers, bench sticks out, and the floor is the bottom shelf - add hanging wire pull out baskets for shoes and it is perfect.

I don't have the plans but I think it was about a 2' deep bench so the cubbies are about 16" to 18" deep
