The back porch on this home is a place to linger for hours! The stone is a manufactured stone by Coronado Stone Products from their Villa Stone collection, and it's Tuscan Villa in Florentine. The stucco is tinted, so maintenance-free for years! The casement windows are by Weather Shield, with a painted vinyl exterior and alder wood interiors. Custom designed iron railings and copper gutters complete this traditional European design.

Facia material - Very interested in what was used for facia and gutters. Is it a custom metal.
Thanks in advance »
Thanks for noticing that little detail, since lots of thought went into it! : ) The fascias are actually just lumber (1x6's I believe), and the gutters are copper, which by the time this photo was taken, had turned their beautiful bronze patina. I had anticipated this, so painted the fascia boards to match. I'm sure it was a Benjamin Moore color, but have recently worked with a client to achieve this same look and we used Sherwin Williams 6076 Turkish Coffee and it looks fantastic.
Can you tell me about the window railing - style. materials, manufacturer? Thanks! - Beautiful home exterior design!!!.....As everyone has already told you! (Smiles) »
rbcola Thank you - I did. You do very artistic designs - like it. However our home design doesn't compliment the rustic beauty of your design. We have a neoclassical style w/an EFIS exterior with a smooth (limestone?) base. Just the same I'm happy to know about your website. I live in a heavily wooded area - lots of opportunity to recommend when I have the opportunity.
Inside-Out Designs Hi, Sorry for my slow reply, but I had to do some digging. The tint on the stucco is a liquid colorant by Quikrete and I believe the color is Canyon No. 1319-11. The roofing material is by GAF and here's the link http://www.gaf.com/Roofing/Residential/Products/Shingles/Designer/Grand_Slate (color is Sheffield Black). On the windows, I honestly don't know if WeatherShield offers their painted exterior windows any longer, as this client had problems with the treatment, so the company may no longer offer this product. That said, it was the only brown they offered, so if they still have it, there's your color. : )
This construction was done in 2005, and the records are with the homeowner, but by looking at the Coronado Stone website, I would think the other colorway would have been Versailles. I hope this helps! ~ Kathy
May I see more of THIS HOUSE?
I love it and want to walk through its rooms and look out through its windows... in pictures; although, if it's close to North Texas and available for tours - I'd love to tour it in person too! ;-) »
bradleighann I would love to see some pictures of the inside - we are interested to see how the porch/entrance works on the inside being on the "corner" of the house.
Inside-Out Designs Hi bradleighann, and thanks for your question! Accessing the family room is from the two sets of French doors you see in the pic. Around the corner is another single door, but it accesses the living room, which flows off the family room. Here's the only pic I have of the family room, and though it doesn't show the French doors, they're on the left side of the room and you can see the light reflection. At least it gives you an idea of the layout. I hope this helps! : ) ~ Kathy
Inside-Out Designs Hi amordepaz, and my apologies for missing your question all those months ago! Kerrie is right, and it is indeed El Dorado Stone, and it's as beautiful up close as it is in the photo. The stucco is actually tinted instead of painted, so it will stand up to the elements for years without maintenance! Thanks so much for your comments ~ I really appreciate them. : )
Inside-Out Designs Hi again amordepaz, and I wanted to send an update on the stone. My memory failed me, since this house was built in 2004. I updated the description on the photo, and it's actually Coronado Stone that's on the exterior.
Amazing home! - The style and color scheme is so beautiful! :)
Is there any way you could post additional pictures of the exterior? I would love to see a full view of the Front (maybe from the street?) and the back too?! But anything you have would be greatly appreciated!! »

Overall appeal. Love the stucco and stone colors, the shingles are even nice too, not totally monochromatic. The balcony.. even if the railing is fixed to the house and there is no place to walk out, I still love the look of it. Want one on the front of the house:)
I wish there was a good picture of the front of this house!
