Uppercase Living Ind. Demonstrator Jean Danieu Something like this would have to be custom made. My husband is a cabinetmaker and he said it would best to use somehting lightweight such as 1/4" plywood or luan. Depending on the size you may need to put supports (ribs/cleats) on the back side.

BeautifulRemodel.com MDF is "medium density fiberboard" its a wood composite product that paints very well and is available in sheet form and moldings. As long as moisture isn't present, it tends to be more stable than plywood, although it is heavier.
