Cynthia Taylor-Luce There are "hold-backs" mounted on the wall and the drapery would be secured at each hold-back. Hold-backs are normally sold to be placed either side of a window, so you can hold back your long side panels when you want to see out of the window. (They are an alternative to having tie-backs as you see in the photo above.) However, you can also use them to support a valance.
Kate Young I loved Bombay and Bombay Kids and hate that their not around anymore! I just can't find anything similar anywhere! If you happen to have any other suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I've even thought about trying to make something myself and that's a very scary thought! :)
Tammy Quick Kate, I know this is seven months late, but I just saw a window VALANCE that was just like the bed skirt. You could use a valance and sew them together to create the same look.
michellemalinas My daughter has this bed, we purchased it through Bombay Kids about 5 yrs ago. I heard they have closed US stores and are only open in Canada...
In this room, your little Cinderella is the belle of the ball. The dressmaker details as found in the window treatments and tiered-ruffle bed skirt and pillows are sure to please the most dainty occupant.
Take the bed skirt to the next level. Texture is an important element in any space. Why not sneak it into your child’s room in an expressive way through a ruffled, magenta bed skirt? Its fun frills are a playful juxtaposition against the wrought iron bed.
A bed skirt and pillows made from hot pink ruffles create a bed that shines with glamour and glitz. A young girl may be tempted to overdo the ruffles, but using them in small doses is just enough to make a big statement.
