Robin Baron Thanks so much for your question! This room is not southern exposure so this room does not get the most direct sunlight. That said, I did do a film on the window that protects from the UVA and UVB rays. In addition to that, you can install solar shades. I frequently layer my sun protection because I feel that in many cases one layer is not sufficient.

Robin Baron Thanks so much for your question. We custom ordered it through our window treatment workroom since it had to be shaped to fit the octagonal shape of the room. Hope this helps!

Robin Baron This rug was purchased at Saxony Carpets but they are no longer in business. I would try Stark Carpet or Paterson, Flynn and Martin. Thanks for reaching out and please let me know if you have any other questions.

transverse windows. Ideally, I would like to have them over the doors on the main floor. I would prefer the glass be opaque so they would not show smudges and dust as much.
