houzzzzzz I was told that I would need a header to support the door or a bracket on the side of the glass that is supporting the door. If that is not the case can you tell me who I can talk to regarding installation.
Ok...I want my pre-engineered wood floors to go into the bathrooms....is this a terrible thing? It looks great and porcelain tile cracks.....and I feel like all bathrooms look the same! »
kdub2 I know this is an old thread...but had to put my 2 cents in. I LOVE hardwood floors in the bathroom. I have had them for the last 15 years in the powder room and in my last house I put them in the master bath. I would never consider putting them in a kids bath, but as adults, I think we can be a bit more careful coming out of the shower. If you can have hardwoods in the kitchen, then you can have them in the bath. My kitchen sees much more water spillage then the bathrooms. As long as you take precautionary measures and have a great installer, I see no problems. To help with water coming from shower, put in a 12 inch tiled border around shower and tub areas.
Is the vanity custom? Also, like the mirrors and lights. The contrast with walls and dark wood is really lovely.
Could you tell me where the wall sconces came from?
Thanks. »
