This was a remove and replace remodel. Fairmont cherry kitchen cabinets from CliqStudios replaced the old outdated cabinetry. To open up the space and connect it to the adjoining dining room, the homeowners opted for no cabinets above the peninsula – good choice! A nifty microwave cubby was used on the peninsula to keep the microwave hidden, and trim molding added the perfect touch to tie the entire space together.
Recessed lights and under cabinet lights give warmth. Cabs to ceiling AND molding connecting them unifies whole room. Even without eye popping back splash, this room pulls together.
