Fergon Architects, LLC Yes, there is a fireplace in the family room that backs up to the outdoor one and a flue in the same chimney for the basement fireplace.

Fergon Architects, LLC The chimney projects 3'-6" out from the exterior wall and about 10" to 12" into the family room on the inside.

Fergon Architects, LLC The firplaces are back to back with masonry between them. The chimney contains the flues from the outdoor, family room and basement fireplaces.
