I just love the look but have been warned against the durability & maintenance. In my world, things must be durable & low-maintenance. Enjoy the pictures, I hope you find some inspiration. I would leave the floors and paint the cabinets a warm shade of white. I would also paint the yellow; it is just a little too bright. The cabinets look dated; if you painted them they would make your floors pop! This gingham plaid pattern is so inventive for a painted floor. As long as the the paint coats are kept thin, this pattern seems relatively easy to achieve.
Here's the black and yellow scheme. Notice the white walls... one could do white linoleum in the sunroom.. I don't really love the "plaid" on the diagonal. but maybe a straight
check with narrower lines would be great. Or slightly different intensities of yellow in the lines as per the grey pic.
