Rob Sanders Architects LLC Greetings-
It's a GE unit, which has approximate dimensions of 12"h x 24"h x 13"d. The model has been made for years with slight variations. We leave an airspace around it, and don't use the "surround kit".
coflake Thank you for your prompt response. It almost has the look of soapstone. It looks lovely with the cherry cabinets. I have been trying to decide what color countertop to choose for my natural cherry cabinets and this has me thinking this could be it! If you don't mind another question, what color paint did you choose for the walls. I like that choice as well. Thank you.
Rob Sanders Architects LLC Greetings- This kitchen is about 115' along the stove wall, and 14' along the refrigerator wall. There is additional circulation area beyond those dimensions where the stools are shown.
Rob Sanders Architects LLC This kitchen is built out of solid cherry with a catalyzed arnish finish. Since these photos were taken, the color has mellowed to a richer tone, more fully saturated in reds and yellows. Most wood species do this with exposure to sunlight (UV), but cherry and pine make a particular transformation.
We have used a white paint wipe after first sealing when clients have a preference for a lighter final color.
corner drawers - do these drawers go straight back on both sides? or are they shaped to the inside cabinet sides? (ie, kind of pie shaped?) Just wondering if this would work for our corner cabinet that was built in 1950 and has a completely round turntable inside it and a FLAT front cabinet door set an angle to the rest of the cupboards, not "knotched" like these. »
Like the natural cherry wood - would prefer the raised arch design - also saw a natural cherry wood with a mocha wash that I really liked but haven't found it on this site yet.
luv that!!!! the bar area hs a unique countertop that perfectly brings a complementary color to this fascinating kitchen. The chairs match very well with the bar area. The dark, yet loud cabinets have a great affect on the wood counters. This is definitely one of my favorites. Signed,Gabby D.
cabs, looks good with stainless, off white backsplash, not thrilled with black counters tho.

I like the yellow bead board shelves. Could do this to a short wall by taking out the sheet rock and using the studs in the wall. Just add bead board or bead board wallpaper, trim, and shelf boards.
The floors are random width 'Character" oak (AKA Number 2 Common) in 5-8" width.
