This sort of sectional in the background, cornered into the window area, becomes a window seat with lots of room. A set up like this of course offers the window seating but is also a smart set-up for dwellings that host parties and gatherings often. This allows for out-of-the way comfortable seating--and a long table and additional chairs can even be pulled up to it for a game night.

Now here is a chair that is neutral in color but not at all boring.
