Margie Grace - Grace Design Associates Hi Mackenzie --- small world indeed! All's well here --- hope the same for you! Thanks for the kudos! This is actually a "humble" door in the wall surrounding a little asian-inspired gem of a garden. The door frames a fountain in the distance. Behind the fountain is a custom bamboo lattice screen. The humble door and frame were bought at auction --- a salvaged architectural piece (old!). One has to bow one's head (humble oneself) to enter the garden through this door... Cheers!

The come-hither path draws the eye to the garden wall, through the humble door and into the garden, leading to we know not where. Intriguing, right? I like the idea of the winding path and the flat and also uneven parts of the grass. the rocks on the grass looks like a hastle to mow, probably would separate it from the actual grass and put some other ground cover I wouldn't have to mow over it. It's nice and rolling! feels like a meadow
