Long time clients and seasonal residents of Newport California wanted their new home to reflect their love and admiration for all things French. Fine antiques and furnishings play well in the foreground of their extensive rotating art collection.

Tommy Chambers Interiors, Inc. Hello. Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but we just found our notes on the wall color. It is a Benjamin Moore paint. "Monterey White" HC-27 in Egg Shell sheen.
Tommy Chambers Interiors, Inc. Hi. We will need to pull our old floor plans to see what the dimensions of the kitchen and island are. Once we come across them, I can get you the measurements. Thanks,
Tommy Chambers Interiors, Inc. Hi. Thanks for the comment. We never really had an exact finish/paint color spec'd for those cabinets. We based it on the attached image of a cabinet door that we had already. It is basically an "off-white" painted cabinet door with a dark powder that gives it an "antique" look, that was applied by our custom painters/finishers.
The backsplash looks like it is multiple tones of grey, is that correct? - I have chocolate glaze cabinets and would love to have this backsplash. I know it says it's white, but it looks multi-toned and it looks more grey than white...where can I get this?
BTW--FANTASTIC work...this is an amazing look! »
Tommy Chambers Interiors, Inc. Hello. Thanks for the nice comment. The kitchen backsplash tiles are from Ann Sacks. www.annsacks.com and yes, they are a mix of off white colors.
Tommy Chambers Interiors, Inc. It's a granite material named "Buxy Cendre". Was in limited supply a few years ago, so I'm not sure how available it is now. You can get a similar look with "Lagus Azul". Lagus Azul will be a little more "grey" and not as "warm" looking as the Buxy.
Tommy Chambers Interiors, Inc. Hi. Thanks for the question about the hard wood floors.
Unfortunately, that was a custom installation so no “Brand” flooring or specific colored stain was used. But I can tell you that it is 10” wide plank flooring with a custom colored stain that was mixed on site.
Sorry we don’t have more details to give you.
Kitchen colors - this is a good view of the island I like. Dark wood, marble top, this shows the bar counter. I like the rustic light fixture...this one is a bit much but I like the idea. Interesting gray outer counter (not sure on that one) but I do like the backsplash tiles. The gray color and the slightly larger size might be a nice change from traditional subway tiles.
