Pear Interiors I believe in the late 80s they used something called Marbelite - I think it is still around. We had work with what the client had. They wanted the bathroom updated without renovating it. We added the beadboard, painted the vanity and replaced the faucet. It was a cheap and cheerful update.
Pear Interiors I used tongue and groove with a chair rail. If you use the tongue and groove make sure you seal the knots before you prime and paint. Another look that is great is to use a larger moulding for the chair rail.
floor tile - I love the look of your bathroom - especially the colors. What color and size is the tile and where is it from? Also can you share the grout color?

Pear Interiors Thanks for your note. Unfortunately, the tile is your basic builders grade beige 12"x12" tile with a darker beige grout. If I was to recreate this bathroom I would have used a honed, possibly chiseled 12x12 travertine or crema marfil tile but I had to work with what the client already had in place.
3. Keep an extra roll on hand. An inviting bathroom definitely includes an extra roll of toilet paper. Store it out of site, or try placing it in a basket for a more casual feel.More ways to stash the TP
