Blumenfeld designed her kitchen with convenience in mind. Two separate sinks and two faucets are flanked by appliances. The countertops are Calacatta gold marble, but the island is concrete. "Concrete is so easy to keep," says Blumenfeld. "I used it on the entire island and lowered part of it for seating for my kids."
Like the layout, slightly expanded kitchen giving space for an island.. And plenty of space for units.....across the 3 walls, especially if get rid of back door and have units across that back wall....
Still have room for a sofa and chill our area near to the conservatory, ESP when I block up the door downstairs to basement
LOVE THIS!!! You can eliminate the b nook by extending the island like that.. maybe not even include that last left side cabinets, to give it an even more open concept feel.. love the built in bookshelves too!
