Perimeter counter material ? - Could this be soapstone? »
Diamond Spas As you can see copper looks good with a vary of different colored cabinets. A perfect statement piece in the kitchen. As Natalie says, copper will patina over time just like a penny but if you wish to keep your custom copper sink looking brand new, you can use copper cleansers to keep that beautiful luster.
Considering hammered copper countertops for our basement bar. Wondered how difficult they are to maintain. Beautiful. Difficult decision so any thought would be greatly apprecaited. »
Natalie DiSalvo The copper is a beautiful addition to the kitchen, however I wouldn't do all the countertops. It's not as durable because acids can stain it. The other countertops are a beautiful green granite I can't remember the name of it but it was not a spotty granite, it had long strokes of different greens and tans.
board and batten? - Love the board and batten work and I'd love to see how it continues throughout the kitchen/home. Do you have any additional pictures to share? »
Copper and stainless steel can go together like peanut butter and jelly. As you can see, you can pair stainless steel appliances with a copper range hood and countertops.Do you mix metals? Tell us how (or why not) below!
could make the area get smaller like this, faster than with stone, and then do something smaller above all the way up, or to where you tie in with beams or something
