Mitchell Construction Group These are Greenfield cabinets. the wood type is cherry with a federal finish. I dont know what minwax stain would match, or if I would go that route to get what you are looking for. These cabinets are finished in the factory with a special finish procedure. I would ask a furniture specialist or cabinet manufacturer for their recommendation on how to proceed. The Island is a different color, Its a paint grade. I believe the countertops are absolute black granite.
What kind of hardwood is this? - I picked Andover maple cabinets for my kitchen and I now have to pick flooring. I want hardwood or engineered hardwood that I will carry through into the living room and dining areas. »
Mitchell Construction Group The island cabinets are from Greenfiled cabinetry... wood type maple, finish Loden. the door style is "Parker" w/ optional 5 -piece drawer front. flat panel, full overlay door. good luck!

A Direct Distributor Corp Kemper, Decora and Shrock are all Masterbrand Cabinet companies. So that's why they look so similiar. Nutmeg was recently renamed to "Brierwood" just for reference purposes :) Best of Luck

Hidden, cantilevered island counter support. It's not hard to have some steel L shaped brackets fabricated that disappear or almost disappear below the overhang if you don't want any brackets or legs to show. I tend to prefer this hidden support approach, whether the house is traditional or modern.
i like everything about this. Combination of painted island with darker cabinets, lighter wood floors. Wonderful desk area, frou-frou lighting. These pendants are too small for my taste though. I like the glass panels in the white door at the rear.
hope this helps, good luck!
