Hood stone please help! - I know you are the photographer, but is there any way to contact the designer of this hood? I'm building a house and my builder and I are having a hard time figuring out what kind of stone or stone veneer this is, and how they made this hood. Please any help would be great! My email is mrsdio@hotmail.com... »
mwal1952 Well your photography is beautiful. The kitchen looks great. It brings out the glazing on the cabinets the colors in the wood and the floor looks wonderful. I love the herringbone placement (I think that is what they call it) of the tile instead of the old - one next to the other installation. Thanks for getting back to me.
Are the upper "end" cabinet doors on the left the same width as the left lower "end" cabinets doors? - We're building a house and I just love the configuration of this "range wall" cabinetry arrangement. My cabinet maker says the cabinet width "directly above" the lower cabinet width have to be the same. I'd like your opinion. I want the side-by-side cabinets on the top and the cabinet with the large drawers on the bottom. Please HELP ME!!! »
Lisa Andberg Hi Chipper, thanks very much for your response. So where can I find the other picture you have of this kitchen on Houzz. I'm not sure how to navigate to this particular kitchen.
Chipper Hatter Architectural Photographer Lisa see if this link takes you to the right image. Should be the same kitchen, more of an overall image, but should provide what your looking for on the left side.
ds design studio It appears to be a granite, and my best guess is Giallo Napolean. This stone is cream, gold, and charcoal gray and is characterized by a tight consistent pattern. Your best bet is to call or visit a slab showroom. You will be impressed with the variety of stone out there. Good luck!
