justbuilding Hi, I was able to find a similar tub in an alcove style, with a factory applied tile flange. It's a Bain Ultra Pro Meridian. Our construction is not yet completed and my contractor has cautioned me about tiling the front of the tub up to the lip of the tub. He believes we might have issues with the grout line where the tile meets the tub from movement in the tub. Do you know if the homeowner has had any problems? It looks like you might not have grouted the gap between the tub and tile (base upon this picture). He would prefer that we install the tub like a drop in and have a slab of marble or granite between the tub and the tile. A very different look, and not the best for a combination tub/shower.
