Carolina Design Associates, LLC Marble is more porous and will show stains, scratches more than granite. When using it just be careful with it and be sure to keep it sealed in order to maintain it's original look.

cghead I have marble in my bathroom, and knew this could be an issue. The first time we got spots from some thing I was very unhappy but I got over it and do not really care so much because it is so beautiful.

Carolina Design Associates, LLC Basically your electrician and mirror fabricator\installer have to be on the same page in terms of light placement. A hole is cut in the mirror in the exact same spot where the electrical boxes are located. Then you can mount lights in those locations.

Carolina Design Associates, LLC These vanities are 66" wide. The overall depth is 23". The side upper cabinets are about 10" deep.

Carolina Design Associates, LLC In this example the molding was applied to the mirror because it was surrounded on all four sides. If you don't have cabinets on each side the molding would have to modified to account for the depth of mirror therefore allowing the molding to attach to the wall.
