Volz & Associates, Inc. Hi, Cindy: We've shied away from suggesting "similar" colors. Lighting is the most important consideration when selecting paint; the same color will radically change from one space to the next, all depending on the number of fixtures, the type of bulbs used, window area, the finish of the furnishings, even the region where the project is located can affect how it's perceived. We recommend getting samples of 2 or 3 colors (or as many as needed) that are close, paint three or four sq ft samples, then decide. I promise you will never regret not skipping this step! (Just don't let any Munchkins notice you doing this, or you'll have a little Picasso hard at work with their own effort in the hall.)
Volz & Associates, Inc. I don't have any information on that fan, it was likely one of the older ones that was refurbished; but I still have to cut-n-paste my old standby answer anyway, thank you for asking...
We specialize in historic preservation. Every project is unique, and always has unusual features that require custom craftsmen to reproduce and rehabilitate original materials. We cannot answer questions like this because our work is so removed from mainstream interior design and new construction. However, we are grateful you appreciate our work; we post these projects to inspire, and thank you for that.
