Frank Lloyd Wright® Taliesin Storage Ottoman
Made in Vermont by Copeland Furniture. Frank Lloyd Wright designed over 1,100 pieces of furniture during his long career. And many of his most notable pieces are part of a select collection by Copeland Furniture. Working with archivists at The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in Scottsdale, Arizona, Copeland Furniture selects those designs that best exemplify Wright's design and aesthetic principles. Then, to protect and preserve the Wright legacy, Copeland names each piece for the client and house for which it was designed. The Frank Lloyd Wright® Taliesin Storage Ottoman was originally created for Wright's living room at Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin. The Ottoman remains true to the original design with one modern adaptation: a hidden storage compartment tucked away beneath the cushion. Each piece of Frank Lloyd Wright® Furniture by Copeland is made of solid hardwood that is Forest Stewardship Council certified. A labor intensive hand-rubbed finish incorporates stain pigments and highlights grain definition in each piece. Copeland Furniture uses only catalyzed lacquer finishes that meet the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association's high standards. They withstand tough stains and age beautifully. The Frank Lloyd Wright® Taliesin Storage Ottoman by Copeland Furniture is crafted from sustainably harvested hardwoods from the American Northern Forest. This authentic reproduction piece is licensed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and is engraved with Wright's signature and a discreet serial number. The solid North American cherry is available in multiiple finishes with a variety of upholstery options.
