Any chance of seeing the entire bathroom to see the size and how the shower integrates? - I love the idea of door-less showers. They are so more practical than all that glass which has to be wiped clean all the time. And the rimless shower is great for handicapped...just walk in with walker or wheelchair....I wish you would profile more!!! Thank you! »
Innovate Building Solutions Very nice looking shower - I like how you've made it into a one floor wet room. For our projects like this we use a glass reinforced plastic base - what did you use on this project?
Hi,
I am about to put penny tile in my shower and wanted to know how it holds up with all that grout. Is it better to go with a darker grout to hide staining?
Thanks and beautiful shower!!!! »
ricardo2012 love this idea. I think all shower should be made like this give the safety issues of stepping out of the shower, also the simple solution to do away with the step...i would like to see an example of glass replacing the curtain and to hear if anyone think it is as good an idea as I think
3. Use texture and patterns to make the space feel larger. The careful selection of penny tiles in bold colors reminiscent of the ocean (think sky, water and sand) plays an important role in making this room feel expansive. The strong horizontal strips and cohesive patterns are all important to the aesthetic and playful nature of this room.
Have fun in your selection of pattern and color. A wetroom is already unusual, why not have fun with it?
Here, similar bullnose borders penny round tile, and it has the look of clean white molding. This is a great solution for finishing off unusually shaped tile or ones without matching trim pieces.
