Kimberly Theus-Bodiford I am the designer of this bathroom. It is from the 2008 Junior League Decorator Showhouse in Montgomery, AL. The vanity console base is from Walker Zanger's Tribeca Collection in Polished Stainless Steel. The countertop is Venatino Marble with an ogee edge. And I purchased the mirror off of E-Bay at that time. But I do not have a record of the company that made it. In my notes, it was made in New York and is a New Venetian Mirror. My new website will be up in about a week if you would like to see other views of this bathroom: www.plush-design-studio.com. Annie Thornton These two marble basketweave mosaics from Ann Sacks look very similar to the tile in this photo. Although it may be fluted, I really think that the field and pattern create an optical illusion when in fact all angles are right.

could you please tell me where I can find the grey subway tile used on the edging and if it is 2x6 or 3x6? - Could you please tell me where you found the subway tile on the edging and if it is 2x6 or 3x 6? »
When the sink is up against a tile wainscot, it does not need an attached backsplash.
Tip: The exposed plumbing components below the sink are available in finishes to match your faucets.
There are at least six kinds of marble tile at work in this bathroom, seven if you count the lavatory counter. To help these different types and colors of tile work together better, the designer unified everything with a grout color. If you look at the gray border on the floor you can see that the grout colors just a bit lighter than the darkest color tile. If you look at the white field tile on the wall you can see that the grout color's also a little darker than the lightest color. The grout color picks a happy medium and pulls this whole bathroom together with effortless grace.
Carrera marble subway tiles are an elegant alternative to traditional white. All the elements – wall tiles with chair rail, console sink, marble basketweave tiles on the floor and the snazzy Venetian mirror – give this bathroom an enchanting antique feel.
The dark gray border around the perimeter of this room picks up the color of the dots and serves as a transition between the floor and a wainscot of coordinating stone subway tile.
Traditional. A traditional trap is looking mighty fine on display beneath console sink. The utilitarian look is a great contrast with the rest of the high-end, somewhat ornate features in the bathroom.
The wet wall of this bathroom is beautifully accented in marble.
Aside from simply cleaning countertop surfaces after each use and wiping down your marble walls and floors, there are a few things you can do to lengthen the life of your marble.
