BAAN design If I remember right (...it's been a while) it's a two inch round galvanized metal pipe and cap with a pvc sleeve- all off the shelf materials you can find at any hardware/plumbing supply store. Note that these boards supports are custom design, so you wont be able to find it in a store.

These "ploes" sticking out of the wall are an easy Do-it-Yourself idea that I can do. Looks modern. Galvinized Flange and pipe for lowes with a PVC cap.
