Victorian Home on Mt Tabor farmhouse

Victorian Home on Mt Tabor

"Before" front porch. This Queen Anne home had a variety of unsuccessful remodels in the 1970's. Our goal was to create a seamless remodel befitting of this wonderful old home. First on the list was to remove the front porch and drive-through portico/ porte-cochere.

What Houzz contributors are saying:

The original porch had been replaced by this one and the port cochere during the ’70s. Among other problems, “the columns were almost 20 feet tall, wrapped in particleboard, out of scale and inappropriate,” Niedergang says.
