Vitra | Map Table

$1,065
Design by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, 2011.
By Vitra.Map is a universal table, with universal good looks and a growing resume of practical applications. Its discreet, functional design language is suited to many interior spaces. As an elegant individual table, Map is well suited to a home office or workspace. Map tables may also be combined to form islands or fixed together into rows for use in conference or meeting spaces. These configurations can easily be taken apart and recombined as needed.Map's vertical table legs are made of tubular steel and fastened to the table top using a fan-shaped, die-cast plate. This seemingly simple technical solution not only serves to reinforce the table top, but with its integrated numbering system, it also enables a range of leg positions. Switching out a few screws enables tables to be assembled in a range of different configurations: fitted flush together or next to each other, stacked or linked to form rows. A plastic glide that can be adjusted without the use of tools ensures that the table tops always remain level. The Map Table is offered with a Melamine/ABS, Light Oak Veneer or Dark Oak Veneer table top. Select your table top, then select powder-coat or Chrome base.
