David Ludwig - Architect These appear to be 30" chairs for a 42" counter I did not like having the thick apron across the front because it reduced the leg space, but the client insisted.

LOVE the size of this work island - plenty of room for gas rangetop and enough space left over for cooking/prepping (and the raised counter on the other side is a nice feature, too)
