How did you waterproof the subfloor for the screened porch? - we're building a screened porch upstairs and our builder is concerned the subfloor will get wet if we try to do tile. Our option is to do deck wood and run screen under the deck so bugs can't get thru but water can escape. Can you help? »
Where can I find information about the screens? They are installed with out obscuring the columns and railings. I have a 90 year old craftsman home with a beautiful front porch and have avoided screens for fear they will detract from the beauty of the house. »

"This porch was built off of the home’s large kitchen/dining space and sits a level above the backyard."Soorikian was inspired "by the beauty of the deep woodland-like property," she says. "I hoped to give the porch the feel of a perch surrounded by lush trees. It's ideal for lazily lounging in a porch swing, especially in the summertime."
