Kia Designs Hi Kate, No we built out a much smaller platform. The drawers of the unit are almost 1 meter in to the platform but there is no other storage built in to it.
Kia Designs The Karman, The drawers and the stairs are bespoke furniture we designed specially for these clients they cannot be purchased as they were specially designed for this space. Sorry.
Where is the bed from and what size is it? - I love the bed and the oversize feel of the bedding. Where is the bed frame from? And what is the size of the mattress? »
How do you build a design like that? - I have a similar design like this but a little bigger. So I am not sure how to exactly build it? Any suggestions on how to start it off and how can I make sure it can handle the above weight? »
Lofts don't have to fling you sky high. This one is just high enough to make good use of space with a built-in dresser and elevate the bed to a primary position.
9. Loft beds. You or your dad probably sweated through an afternoon of building a wooden platform, then heaving your bed on top of it so you could save an extra few feet of floor space. Take that idea to a new level (no pun intended) with custom built-ins and a simple platform-style bed, such as this setup.
I'd like to get rid of our chest of drawers and dresser and put all our drawer storage under the bed. It's wasted space and the dust wouldn't get under the bed that way.
Loft bedroom. I'm speechless. This is so unusual. What was the driving force, a need for storage or the need for a different perspective. I like it, but would I want it. So much for being speechless.
Make child's bed room to their level, get child size furniture. Small by steps would lead to area by closet with child size kitchen etc..... Bedroom would be home living area play area!!
I do not like the color scheme or the design, other than I LOVE the idea of building the dresser with stairs and having the whole bedroom multi-level. The idea behind this is genius--especially if mixed with the loft idea.
