Where did you get the chrome-legged sink? - I love it. Beautiful! And smart for a small bath (like in my DC house). Love the tile, but it's the SINK I really love. Where is it from? »
Lauren Rubin Architecture Hi Nanham66,
This is my favorite tub. It works great in small bathrooms as it has very slim lines and hence has more volume. It is the Tea For Two by Kohler.
Best, Lauren
can you tell me the size of the bathroom? - I have a small bathroom that I am planning to renovate. I will need a small bathtub and pedestal instead of a vanity, I think. This bathroom looks clean and organized with minimum space used »
Lauren Rubin Architecture Hi Daniel, I always tile the walls of a very small bathroom. The clean lines of the tile to the ceiling keep the bathroom very clean and simple and draws your eye up. My second choice would be a tiled wainscoting with a nice trim. I am going to attach a photo (very bad photo) to show you a ridiculously small bathroom but with a beautiful half wall of tile.

auslo Hi Lauren, I can't find the plan attached as I don't know where to click. When you face the sink, the bath is behind your knees. I am thinking of rearranging my bathroom this way (alternative is vanity under window which is awkward). Wondered your opinion on what the minimum distance between edge of sink and edge of bath before it would be too pokey? Thanks!
At roughly 5 by 7 feet, this New York City bath has almost zero elbow room. Yet it doesn't feel cramped, thanks to a few visual tricks: long, lean lines and a short shower curtain that doesn't swallow floor space. A recessed niche keeps the sink out of the way.

could do something like this; i think i like this more than one on left because tile goes around all walls; has more relief (is thicker?) and the floor has color. AND i like the details are stainless with white; do that;
