Jordan Parnass Digital Architecture The venting here is in the ceiling. The owner opted to go for more cabinet space and preserve the clean lines foregoing a dedicated hood. There are downdraft ventilated ranges if you have room for a standard 30" or larger unit or there are the inserts mentioned by the previous commenter, though you lose the cabinet space.
