Weedman Design Partners Hello, thank you for the inquiry. The shoe rack was custom made for this particular client. As this is a privately commissioned design item, I cannot share the drawings.
Fabric on banquette - I love the colors you used and have a similar banquette in my kitchen.
What fabric was used on the banquette?
Who is the manufacturer? Style? Colorway?
Specific information would be greatly appreciated! »
Weedman Design Partners A very small angle will make a difference in the comfort of the back of the bench, although I agree that your 17" depth is concerning. If there is a way ot pull the seat cushion forward, so that the back cushion sits behind it? If so, this would be what I would advise. I believe our back cushion is upholstered on to a board, which is then hung using a cleat on the bench back. Good luck!
sweetsy I'm in somewhat same situation so asking around for various bench dimensions. I am not planning to build a back but use either bead board on drywall plus loose pillow type cushions or just plain drywall with loose cushions. I've really been asking around the various banquettes on Houzz to try to get dimensions. One has to take legs and depth of back cushion into consideration when determining bench depth and height. I've learned chair height is most common at 18-19". Hth!
Weedman Design Partners Thanks for your question! The table base is vintage, from a restaurant supply shop. We had it powder coated blue. The top of the table was made by our carpenter.
How do you connect the bench to the wall? - Love the openess under the bench for heat vents and outlets. How does the bench connect to the wall and support weight from multiple people. Thanks »
Weedman Design Partners The bench is built like a cabinet, and was made by our carpenter. It is permanently attached to the wall, and has support at multiple points from the seat to the floor.
