Custom Home Planning Center If you look at the intersect of the ceiling with the wall on the right side you will see the most probable means. Use a wide board to transition to the standard inverted base and crown used on the remainder of the ceiling. This does assume that the cabinets go close enough to the ceiling.

Emily Hurley It looks like it could be carrara marble. I'd check in with a local stone supplier for availability. We see it quite often on Houzz!

u_3solis It's hard to tell from the light reflections, but I think it's carrera marble not granite.
