Scandia surf. This is what Clarke deems "the new Nordic style at the beach." Drawing from Scandinavian modern style, it brings in a light and airy palette, highlights natural materials and celebrates clean lines, good proportions and uncluttered spaces. However, the look is not strictly minimalist. As you can see in this space, fun beach finds and artwork create a pleasing composition on the wall, and even incorporate the aforementioned driftwood and kitschy mini ship wheels.

The floor is a pretty color and the juxtaposition of the vertical against horizontal is really neat. Like the overall feel and accessories here, but would have soft, upholstered chairs instead for more textural contrast...then it would be perfect!
