The Shabby Nest Eggshell is actually the best choice of finish for walls while semigloss makes a good for trimwork. Flat is best used on ceilings because it doesn't reflect light and therefore doesn't show any flaws...but it doesn't clean up as easily as the other finishes which is why it isn't the best choice for walls.

Chocolate. Warm browns are simply delicious which is why they work so well in the kitchen. They are the color of truffles, chocolate chips and more. It's hard not to feel a bit euphoric when surrounded by this yummy color.

Has anyone tried to lick these walls? They look yummy. The space gets warmth from the walls and the island cabinetry, yet still feels bright and airy via the different shades of white used throughout. To get this look, start by replacing heavy window treatments with white wood blinds to bring in the natural light. Next, keep the ceiling white, and install lots of lighting overhead as well as floor and table lamps with white shades. Add reflective accessories like mirrors. Finally, keep artwork light by making sure it has a lot of white in it, and use white mats when framing.
