In summer this combo laundry mudroom is cool and fresh and in winter it is ethereal with snow piled outside the door.
Upper wall colour is by "Promise" by Sarah Richardson Para paint line (is only in Lowes in Canada)
Door is Boca Raton by Benjamin Moore
Trim and beaded board is Oxford White by Benjamin Moore.
This room faces north and these colours do not feel cold at all.

Where did you get the door hardware on that outside door? »
Sandra Howie Hi there,
The lower rim lock and handle is actually original to the old door and the latch above is just a standard deadbolt in a brass finish and both were sprayed matte black to match. If you check around salvage yards and antique places that carry hardware I'm sure you will find similar ones.
sammieanne You could also order a catalog from Restoration Hardware. They specialize in reproductions of antique fixtures for inside and out in every finish you can imagine!
Sandra Howie Hi there,
The colour is a custom mix of a few colours but my paint chips show that Benjamin Moore's Ancient Ivory is really close.
Hope that is helpful!
tammypoole Thank you. Beautiful!
We have similar cabinet color (mine is Wool Skein, Sherwin Williams) but my floors are dark wood. The granite I chose has the same colors as yours, but there is a lot of "movement" and spacing of the different colors. It is "Typhoon Bordeaux" but is in the same color family as yours and the same light/dark tone....so not the same, but sort of the same. We had been picking out a backsplash that had a combo of subway, diamonds, metals, etc which was pretty, but I think it distracts the eye from the granite/competes with the granite, so I am looking for something simple but elegant to complement the granite. Needed photos to show husband. Thanks again for helping and taking the time to post your photos!
foreverhouse jiride, I did the Wickham Gray in my kitchen and laundry area also. I will try to attach a picture..It looks a little sterile because we didn't move in at that point. I have a lot of cabinets but you can see the color..I love it..It's very soothing..It's the color of the sky but very light..Some people see gray and some see blue..It depends on the light. Hope this helps..I had so many swatches of color when I was picking out mine I gave myself a headache! Good luck!
jiride LOVE your kitchen and the color looks great!! I did get a sample and tried it - this may be the one :) If I decide to go with this color, I need another similar color for my dining room and living room. What is your color in the dining room? I can see a little of it on the 3rd picture - it transitions well. You are so lucky, you have done a wonderful job!!
Anne DeCocco If you click on "more info" under the picture, you'll see some great questions and answers about this very pretty space. Fun to read. Ok, the counters--can anyone really see what's on these counters? I hope our homeowner will answer because now we all want to know. The blue door, by the way, is genius.
Sandra Howie Hello,
Thanks!
sorry haven't been on Houzz for a bit. We put in Santa Cecilia granite and it has brown tones as apposed to Santa Cecelia in greyer tones. The cabinets are a cream with a glaze over them.
Hope it helps!
Sandra Howie Hi Janie,
Sorry I have not checked in lately, I would not do this in a kitchen as it is a rough stone and would be harder to clean. We have a large area matt down to protect from dirty boots.
If you're able to incorporate a sink into your back entry or mudroom, all the better! It will give you a place to clean up messy shoes, not to mention the paws of our 4-footed friends.
This beachy cottage's back entry shows off the quintessential appeal of beadboard. It's neat, functional and nostalgic for a classic New England coast home, Cape Cod or Nantucket comes to mind. White and clean on the walls and even the ceiling, it plays well with the calming shades of ocean blues. The starfishes on display are just the right detail to finish off the look.
If there's one thing that all beach houses have in common, it's sandy towels. A little sand on the floors (and between the sheets) is to be expected, but hooks like these make it easy for everyone to stash their towel before walking in the door, at least minimizing the mess. Who wants to sweep when they could swim?
Catch the snow before it comes indoors. Kiss advises keeping a rough mat outside the door and a mud tray on your mudroom boot shelf to catch snow from boots.
