There is something visually unappealing about this design. First of all, the truncated hip roofs should have been allowed to soar to their true maximum height terminating at a ridge. Secondly, the faux antique effect on the chimney isn't articulated very well and looks and is contrived. Thirdly, the turrent is much too wide and therefore out of scale to this house. Too many dormers. Back to the drawing board with this one.
