Lands End Development - Designers & Builders Hello, the stone is a Cultured Stone Brand Old Country Fieldstone, in the Chardonnay color. I hope that helps, and thanks for looking!!
Lands End Development - Designers & Builders Thanks for your question, I am afraid I am not much help. As a design/build firm we are actively involved with the construction and architectural design of the home, but we are not involved in the furnishing of it and so I do not know the answer to your question. Sorry I am not more help.
Lands End Development - Designers & Builders Hi, thanks for looking!! The walls in this photo are called a "skip trawled" drywall with a multi-coat painted and glazed finish over the top. Hope that helps!!!
Lands End Development - Designers & Builders Good question!! Those floors are a random width hickory plank flooring. I believe it is 4", 5", and 6" widths. It also has a stain and clear coat on it to darken it up a bit from natural. Glad you like it and thanks for looking!!
Go for the cozy. Vaulted rooms offer drama, but something about a flat wood ceiling makes a cabin feel cozy and true. More often found on the exterior of a home, stone pillars define this space while bringing in a rustic element.
There's something about a rustic aesthetic that makes a room feel tucked far away from the rest of the world in a homestead or camp kind of way. Natural materials like large stones and twiggy wood pieces bring in an away-from-it-all vibe; dark wood ceilings and ocher walls finish off the look.
