Is the counter around the perimeter granite with a leather finish? - Is it easy to keep looking clean/ streak free compared to the shiny black granite? I have been told it shows fingerprints easily but I love the look. »

NVS Remodeling & Design Hello! The perimeter countertop is actually a granite. It has just been given a leathered finish. Leathering keeps the original color, but gives the granite an interesting texture.

Open corner upper shelves similar to what I was thinking....also built in pantry beside fridge. Also interesting with yellow on wall and bulkhead (which is also similar to what I was thinking) and same yellow on peninsula cabinets...and two different countertops too!
Think this kitchen is similar dimensions to ours...and similar placement of appliances...my plan just has sink and stove switched potentially.
THINK ABOUT building out the small wall a bit into the dining room to make a bigger pantry..see how pantry goes beyond width of peninsula here...that same idea for ours...
