Jeffrey Gordon Smith Landscape Architecture This is a solid slab of concrete that was scored and individually stained with a mortar joint infill on the cuts. The colors were selected to accent the natural stone. The concept was done as more of a solid color than a faux stone look if this makes sense!

wrap around benches, angled large pavers Rebecca and I really like this as a solid approach to the front 'courtyard' area - I think we both see the front area as very 'civic' minded, open seating, paved, social/public space where friends gather to talk or continue conversation from upstairs kitchen/dining. The front area has to accommodate the busy traffic of Ravenna - not welcoming it but neither denying its existence. We have a backyard that will function as our quiet, reflective open space.
