This photo has always been one of my favorite outdoor shots on the site. Not just because the fountain has a dragon in a tub, but also because the rosemary, lavender, and olive tree landscaping is one of my absolute favorite combinations. Here is another example of plantings that are the exact right height. They surround this nest without creating a cloistered feel. If the plants were any shorter though, they wouldn't give a feeling of protection. This particular nest is situated on the side of a slight slope or hill which gives an added feel of protection and opens up to a vista below. In the midst of the quivering breezes of rosemary, salvia and lavender, with olive trees hovering in the background, I wish I was the dragon bathing in that fountain!

Outstanding in its field! I'd float some of that rosemary in the water for nature's own aromatherapy. Oh, also, there seems to be a dragon in the tub. Hope you don't mind.

Rosemary, lavender: a landscape you can smell (and, in some cases, cook with). Pine is nice too, for scents. It's like built-in aromatherapy.
