Every component of this powder bathroom has been carefully selected. From the dark paint color to the narrow mirror, hung off center to the vanity but centered above the sink. The light fixture, set to the side, becomes the jewelry of the space.

Dark gray and medium brown have long been a favorite fashion combination of mine, so naturally, I was drawn to this bathroom. The walls are definitely dark (and so smooth!) but the wood — along with the white accents on the vanity and toilet — lightens things up. The bathroom would have been chic without the pendants, but they elevate and polish off the whole look with their golden glimmer.

I think these are technically pendants, but the effect is the same. They drop from the ceiling and cluster at one side of the mirror like a wavy lock of hair falling over an eye.
