I have a small bathroom whee I want to tile half way up the wall. How can I achieve this look with tiles Here you have painted the walls a pretty soft color. Would my option be to use white or biscuit subway tiles? I like neutral, soft bathrooms but most of them have painted walls except in the tub/shower and I don't know how to get the same effect with tile. Thank you. »
pholloway Since the bathroom is small most of the space where I would tile half way up rather than paint is behind and next to the toilet. Seems that for sanitary and cleaning reasons tile would be better.
TanCalGal If you can afford tile, it's lovely. Have you looked at model homes in your area? The upscale homes here, have washable paint (or wallpaper) in toilet area and they do not bother with tile.
What is the width of your side door trim? - Boards come in 3 1/2 inches in width and 51/2. Did you rip a 51/2 down to have extra width or is it 3 1/2 nches and my eyes are deceiving me? »
