You can, but it will be a process. This can be done to certain wood species. Before you start anything clean your cabinets really well. You want to use a TSP detergent to cut the grease. You may have to do this 2-3 times to the cabinet doors. You will need to scuff the surface of your existing cabinets after they are all clean. Once they are scuffed you can apply your glaze. Glaze doesn't have any kind of binder so you will need to add a varnish once you are done glazing.

If you have oak cabinets the glaze will fall into the pores and be impossible to clean out. You may want to purchase a glazing pen if you have oak or hickory cabinets.

We wish you the best of luck on your project.

Sincerely,
