Richard Bubnowski Design LLC The wall on the left is nothing more than standard drywall with a painted finish. The wall on the right is a 12" tongue and groove plank vertical with a Benjamin Moore pearl finish. Pretty basic.
cetocc Thank you so much for your response! I know it seems like a really basic question, but we are currently building a house. Our builder says he typically does a hand trowel texture, but I don't like that. I like how this looks smooth.
I love the pendant lantern light hanging up there (the closest one to camera, the most predominant in photo)...Can you tell me where to find it? Thank you!! Jamie.Ferrandi@yahoo.com »
charlottegirl I've seen a similar one at Lantern & Scroll. You could try there: www.lanternandscroll.com They were really great to work with and all of their fixtures are USA made. Ask for Claire, she was awesome! Cheers!
Here's a nice little "pop-up" in an upstairs hall. Not only does this give a place to hang a lantern with a long chain, but the extra bit of beadboard finish reinforces the coastal nature of the home's style. A nice opportunity to achieve something special in what is normally a simple, utilitarian space.
