Alpenglow Building & Design Inc. This siding is composed of natural barnwood with no finish. The colors and hues are natural. On other projects using barnwood we have sprayed a clear UV coating to resist fade. For cedar, I would recommend a wood conditioner to brighten it up and then a clear sealer to finish. Alpenglow Building & Design Inc. I have only used a clear, water-based UV product on barnwood to keep the colors from fading over time. This darkens the wood slightly but makes for a longer contrast.

Cannot wait.. hope being inside will give me a longer chance of retention on my coloring.. and love the fact that it DOEs darken it some.. like the contrast and variation of the colorings even more from the dark being in there.. PERFECT for me and SO WELL DONE!! Closest thing to Natural Looking .... TImeless.!!
