Kerrie L. Kelly Absolutely! As long as it doesn't tie into other rooms. Before installing just confirm that you have nice breaking points of where to stop and start your trim detail. Just doing a feature space such as a living room, dining room or master bedroom makes perfect sense.

Mark Dodge Design absolutely, but if your using it in only one room, the simpler the molding will tie in better with the rest of the house
