Thurman St
Powder Room off the first floor kitchen. Space was previously a closet under the main staircase. Walls were painted a beautiful coral color and then individual 6" x 6" silver leaf sheets were applied to the walls and ceiling. Steel wool was used to burnish the walls and give them more depth.
The flooring is a porcelain stone application that is set on the diagonal and then we used rich fused glass 1" x 1" tiles at each corner.
The cabinet is a custom cabinet with exaggerated wood carved cabriole legs. The entire piece was sent off to be painted with a high gloss auto body paint. A mix of finishes is used; antique brass light fixture, nickel faucet and polished nickel cabinet hardware.

Garrison Hullinger Interior Design Inc. It was a wonderful undertone for this burnished silver leaf wall. Though one may not see the coral tone in this photo...you can't miss it when you walk in the room. We used Benjamin Moore Coral Essence 2007-40.

This elegant powder room must absolutely glow from the inside out. Individual, hand-applied, 6" x 6" silver leaf sheets were applied to the walls and ceiling. Steel wool was used to burnish the walls and give them more depth. [Please make sure to seal the walls; otherwise, you can end up with stained walls]. This was a very laborious project, and it turned out beautifully. The cool nature of the wall treatment completes the luxe design.
